SANITI - Ensuring a fair deal for Students

SANITI stands for Student Association of Nelson-Marlborough Institute of Technology Incorporated.
SANITI is a not-for-profit organisation set up to help students with any issues you have relating to studying at NMIT and being a student. Our main purpose is to provide advocacy, representation and other services to all students at NMIT.

SANITI's Vision is to provide high quality, dynamic services and representation for all SANITI members.

SANITI is Governed By Students - For Students.

The student elected Executive Committee define SANITI's objectives and oversee their implementation. There is also a full-time Student President who is supported by a Vice-President.

The Student Voice

As well as the Executive Committee, Students also have input to SANITI through the Class Representative System, Conferences, Forums and General Meetings. Get involved with SANITI.

Student Culture

SANITI fosters student culture at NMIT through regular events, including an Orientation at the start of the year and Graduation at the end of the year. Our magazine VOS provides information to students and covers current events. We also have a regular contact to all of NMITs places of study through our Distant Campus Manager.
