SANITI - by Students, for Students
SANITI is the Student Association at Nelson-Marlborough Institute of Technology. SANITI's purpose is to provide essential services and representation to all NMIT enrolled students across New Zealand.
While SANITI has very close ties with NMIT, we are a completely independent entity and operate with strict levels of confidentiality, upholding students' privacy. We are a non-profit organization; we supplement our income with sponsorship and advertising.

Advocacy and Support
SANITI is a place where students can turn to for any issue while they are studying.
Representation
SANITI runs a comprehensive representation network that leads all the way to NMIT Council.
Student Culture
SANITI runs regular events, publishes a magazine, and many other things that make studying at NMIT fun.
SANITI is governed by students, for students.
SANITI has a student elected group of student representatives who meet regularly to set SANITI's direction, goals and priorities. There is a full-time Student President who is supported by the Vice-President. Students also have input through their Programme Representatives. Learn more.

The SANITI staff are here to help students with any issues they may face, whether it is related to study, campus life or of a personal nature. SANITI representatives are available through-out the year on all NMIT campuses. You can contact SANITI directly or come into our office on Nelson Campus.
