Aviation Students
There are currently over 360 full time NMIT students undertaking flight training and Aviation Engineering across the country, from as far south as Mainland Air in Dunedin right up to Ardmore Flying School in Auckland. On the ground SANITI actively supports and promotes student pilots as well as promoting student pilot issues on a national level through lobbying the Government and working with the Aviation Industry Association.
Whether you are having difficulties with StudyLink, your Flight Training Provider or you would like assistance in organising an event, SANITI wants to hear from you! Our current national student support manager Hayden visits each flying school at least twice throughout the year.
SANITI Student Pilot Conference
Each year over 30 student pilots attend our all expenses paid National Aviation Conference in Nelson. The conference provides student pilots with the chance to network with there peers and industry professionals as well as providing an ideal forum for students to express their views on issues concerning student pilot training.
