I’m taking some business papers this year, and finishing off my Commerce Degree, which I started at Auckland University. I have a Bachelor of Music from Auckland Uni, and a background in Student Support Work, Marketing and Communications, Employment Relations and Politics. I love singing, netball, swimming, debating and helping people, and I’m enjoying representing the students of NMIT.
I’m looking forward to getting to know lots of you this year, and I encourage you to come and say ‘hi’ and talk to me about any issues you’re having that are affecting your study – I’m here to help.

Alison
I'm the SANITI Office Manager. My job is to oversee the Association by managing the finances, staff and legal requirements of SANITI. No two days are the same and having 14 student executives as my boss is always fun/challenging. My brief is to secure the Association for past, present and future students.
Hayden
I am the student support manger for all NMIT students who are studying outside of Nelson. It is my job to ensure that all members of SANITI regardless of where they are studying have access to our support and services. Twice a year I travel throughout the country to all of NMIT's affiliated campuses to visit students. I am also responsible for organizing SANITI's annual Student Pilot conference.
Fraser
My name is Fraser Heal. My main role at SANITI is producing the student magazine VOS, designing brochures, flyers and posters and looking after the website. I also help the other staff members running events and fill in on the desk helping students with their enquiries.
Pip
Kia ora, gidday, nihao, talofa, my name is Pip Bowler and my job here at SANITI is as your Advocate and Policy Developer. I have been part time at SANITI since the start of 2009. Advocacy involves supporting students with academic, employment, financial, domestic and other issues. I am here to help you find a resolution so you can focus on your studies successfully.
