Support - Academic

SANITI provides support for students who need assistance with academic issues.

Academic Issues can be:

  • Course structure
  • Cancellation or withdrawal from program
  • Reconsideration of grades, agrotats, assessment issues, recounts
  • Work placement/practicum, supervision
  • Study support, help for international students
  • Alleged academic misconduct, plagiarism
  • Problems with teaching staff

The Student President and SANITI Advocate provide a confidential and supportive environment for you to air your concerns. They are knowledgable of the process required and will work with you to reach a quick resolution.

NMIT provides study support through Learning Support. Contact Learning Support by phoning NMIT 03 546 9175 or through the Library on Nelson Campus. Talk to your tutor if you feel you need assistance with your course.
